Just looked through my memory box containing pictures, birthday cards, encouragement cards, etc that dates all the way back to 2008 I think…
Brought back so much joy, comfort, and thankfulness to know that God carried me all the way through and is still carrying me today. PTL for brothers & sisters in Christ.

I believe in the doctrine of election, because I am quite certain that, if God had not chosen me, I should never have chosen Him; and I am sure He chose me before I was born, or else He never would have chosen me afterwards; and He must have elected me for reasons unknown to me, for I never could find any reason in myself why He should have looked upon me with special love.

A woman who fears the Lord will not run away from God to satisfy her longings and relieve her anxieties. She will wait for the Lord. She will hope in God. She will stay close to the heart of God and trust in his promises. The prospect of departing into the way of sin will be too fearful to pursue; and the benefits of abiding in the shadow of the Almighty too glorious to forsake.
John Piper (via carashin)
“Blessed is the man who trusts in the Lord, whose trust is the Lord. He is like a tree, planted by water, that sends out its roots by the stream, and does not fear when heat comes, for its leaves remain green, and is not anxious in the year of drought, for it does not cease to bear fruit.” Jeremiah 17:7-8 ESV
Yes, Lord! May this be so in my life
Secular Music
reblogged from

“Music is a gift from God. God is the only Creator and satan cannot create anything. I don’t believe in Sacred or Secular because that is not in the Bible; man “created” that rule. Individually assess if that music stirs your affections for Christ or if it causes sinful thoughts. Listen to music to glorify God. Like Christ, enter the culture and use it as a means to spit the Gospel in a relevant manner.”

You Made A Way
Matt Gilman
Holy
By the crimson stain upon Your robe
With every nail, with every pounding blow
By every stripe and every bruise upon Your back
I can hear You crying out
You say, “Father, I desire that they would be,
That they would be with Me to see My glory”
You took all my shame and my iniquity
For the sake of freedom, You set me free
You made a way for me to enter the holy place
You made a way for me to enter the holy place
I am Yours, You are mine
And we’ll be together forever
Whoa, this is big.

For God the greatest lover
So loved the greatest degree
The world the greatest company
That he gave the greatest act
His one and only Son the greatest gift
That whoever the greatest opportunity
Believes the greatest simplicity
In Him the greatest attraction
Shall not perish the greatest promise
But the greatest difference
Have the greatest certainty
Eternal life the greatest possession
John 3:16.

Attack anything that makes you feel unworthy, inadequate, hopeless, powerless and useless. That is the evidence of the enemy. All those things need to be attacked with joy, with peace, with love and grace, with mercy, with kindness and the goodness of God.

LOVE costs every thing
How neglectful I’ve grown towards my brothers and sisters dying for the name of Christ.
Overflow Into Ministry
reblogged from

Our ministry is the bowl underneath the cup that represents our own spiritual life. If we wish to see our ministry being filled, it must be through the overflow of our own personal walk with God.
